🌟 A Morning of Inspiration with Cass County CEO! 🌟
This morning, we had the pleasure of welcoming Julia Albarracin, Professor of Political Science at Western Illinois University and Executive Director of Western Illinois DREAMers.
Julia shared her incredible journey with our CEO members. Born and raised in Argentina, she began her career as an attorney, earned a master’s degree in business, owned her own corporation, and worked in public administration before making her way to Florida to pursue her Ph.D. in Political Science.
Her journey wasn’t without some trial and error, and she shared some valuable advice with our members: Follow your passion, but be a little practical along the way! She reminded them that doubts and obstacles are inevitable, but keeping your ultimate goal in mind will help you push through those challenges.
Our members asked a variety of thoughtful questions and quickly discovered just how passionate and motivated Julia is about her work. They also learned that she is well-traveled and considers her parents to be her biggest role models.
