Last month, we had the pleasure of welcoming Jonah Phelps to speak with our group. Jonah, a local funeral director and embalmer with Airesman-Hires Funeral Home in Beardstown, shared insight into a profession that many may initially view as heavy or intimidating. Through his thoughtful and engaging presentation, Jonah helped our CEO members see the meaningful and impactful side of his work. He spoke about the honor he feels in serving families during some of their most difficult moments, offering compassion, care, and support when it matters most. His perspective left a lasting impression and gave our group a deeper appreciation for a career dedicated to helping others in times of need.
