During our first week back in “class,” we had the opportunty to visit Burrus Seed Company outside of Arenzville. Third generation businessman, Todd Burrus, spoke with the members about the company, its history, and his passion for agriculture.

One of the CEO members said, “Burrus Seed was one of, if not the most exciting and informative visits so far this year. We toured all of the departments within the facilities and then sat down to watch a presentation about the history of the company. Todd is a very knowledgeable and passionate individual about his family’s business. Todd talked about how his family had very different skills but worked together to build one of the largest small seed companies in the area. If I had to describe Burrus Seed Company in one word, it would be quality. They focus on total quality in everything. We as a class are very grateful for the visit and lecture.”

Todd also visited us in class the following day. He spoke about marketing, business, & partnerships. Todd speaks in a way where you just want to listen and learn. He offers insight and information in a loving way. We appreciate Todd taking so much time to provide us with his knowledge and kindness.
